The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney are se to be involved in several massive trades before the 2025-26 NHL season kicks off and July 1st free agency has been confirmed.

Free agency really was a frenzy for Don Sweeney, with multiple Boston Bruins departing from the organization and several new faces coming into the organization.

But Bruins fans and even analysts are left much more confused in regards to Don Sweeney's "re-tooling process" after July 1st.

The lineup is now left jam-packed, but it's reportedly leading to something bigger:

Geekie-Lindholm-Pastrnak Zacha-Mittelstadt-Arvidsson Jeannot-Minten-Poitras (?) Beecher-Kastelic-Kuraly Eyssimont Blumel Khusnutdinov (?) Lysell (?)

Several trades set to be completed by the Boston Bruins

With an overflow of bottom-six players acquired and signed during the first day of free agency, Sweeney is now forced to send players packing via trade.

There's an overflow of talent leaving the roster in a tough position, could it lead to the newest additions being dealt or a regular-lineup forward being shipped out?

"The main concern for this is how filled the bottom-six forward group is now

Too many bodies, bottom-six pieces here. Boston planning to waive players? Make some trades?"

The player Sweeney signed are not AHL caliber, so we can officially cross that out of the equation.

We could see a multi-player move take place just before the NHL 2025-26 regular season kicks off in October, but one thing is for certain: we will see players out the door.

With the conclusion of day 1 of NHL free agency, what would you grade Don Sweeney's transactions?
