What else did we expect.. A Recent announcement just revealed that a top Boston Bruins prospect is facing a major demotion heading into their final regular season game of the 2024-25 season.

Tomorrow night, the Boston Bruins are going to be hosting the New Jersey Devils at TD Garden in their final regular season game of the 2024-25 season, but it's looking like a top prospect will be facing a major demotion.

Earlier today, the Bruins revealed that some more prospects are going to get a chance to prove themselves as they recalled John Farinacci, and Frederic Brunet, and also reassigned Michael Callahan and Riley Duran, but another prospect is facing a demotion.

#NHLBruins have recalled forward John Farinacci and defenseman Frederic Brunet from Providence on an emergency basis; assigned forward Riley Duran and defenseman Michael Callahan to Providence.

Top Bruins Prospect Facing Demotion

Since being recalled, Fraser Minten has appeared in the last five games for the Boston Bruins, but heading into their final game it was revealed he will be facing a big demotion.

Minten has been solid for the Bruins, and is averaging 12:57 of ice time this season, but it looks like that is going to take a hit.

According to the Bruins practice lines, Minten is set to center the fourth line for their final game, meaning he is going to get less playing time. Take a look:

Bruins practice lines:

Geekie - E. Lindholm - Pastrnak
Lauko - Zacha - Lysell
Koepke - Mittlestadt - Lettieri
Khusnutdinov - Minten - Farinacci

Zadorov - Jokiharju
Lohrei - Peeke
Brunet - Wotherspoon

Swayman
Korpisalo

Extras: Beecher, Kastelic, McAvoy, Mitchell

Minten has been solid for the Bruins, having him play fourth line minutes over someone like Lauko is just mind blowing.
