The NHL has finally released the independent review regarding the failed signing of Mitchell Miller.

Boston's management was in very hot water a few months ago when they announced the free agent signing, but with these conclusions we can somewhat move on from it. Of course, it will forever be a dark stain in the franchise's deep history.

The Bruins released the following statement regarding the investigation.

The PR team also released a series of steps to be implemented to strengthening management's vetting process when signing free agents.
