Morgan Geekie just became the fourth player to ever do this with the Boston Bruins, and an announcement was made regarding it.

Last year, Geekie got off to a slow start, which ended up leading to fans calling for the organization to trade him.

Ultimately the Bruins did not trade him; instead, they decided to sign him to an extension in the off-season, and it's paid off.

So far this year, Geekie has been super hot for the Bruins and just completed something that only three other players have done with the organization.

Geekie becomes 4th player in past 25 years to score 10 goals in 16 games

During their game against the Ottawa Senators, Geekie ended up scoring his 10 goal of the year.

This brought Geekie's total numbers on the year to 10 goals and 3 assists for 13 points in 16 games.

With that, Geekie became just the fourth player in the past 25 years to score 10 goals in 16 or fewer games, joining Pastrnak, Marchand, and Seguin.

Take a look:

Geekie has been a big reason the Bruins are currently on their five-game winning streak.

He was riding a 6-game goal streak, but that came to an end in their game against the Hurricanes.

Do you think re-signing Morgan Geekie was the right move by the Bruins?
