Just recently, a new development has surfaced in former Boston Bruins captain, Brad Marchand returning back to the organization to finish his career, and things are not looking good.

There were rumors this off-season that Brad Marchand could return back to Boston. Although this didn't happen, some new details have emerged on him returning to finish his career there.

Marchand was traded to the Florida Panthers mid season, and went on to win the Stanley Cup after having an insane playoff run.

Marchand ended up scoring 10 goals, 5 of them being game winners for the Panthers, and 10 assists for 20 points in 23 playoff games.

He then went on to sign a six-year contract extension with the Florida Panthers, shocking the entire hockey community.

Brad Marchand to end his career with a different organization

On a recent episode of First Up on TSN, two NHL insiders spoke on where Brad Marchand could end his career.

Both Carlo Colaiacovo, and Matthew Cauz spoke on Brad Marchand finishing his career with the Anaheim Ducks.

"Brad is not finishing his career in Florida. No way he's going to finish in Anaheim. That's my prediction. Brad Marchand, Anaheim Duck, 2029. Count it."

Marchand signed a six-year deal, and there is belief that after a few years, the Panthers are going to move on from his contract and he will end his career with the Ducks.

Cauz stated that he thinks the Ducks are going to be the team that lands Marchand for the remainder of his contract.

This would definitely be very interesting, and a slap in the face to the Bruins organization if he does not finish his career back where he started it.
