A new unexpected statement has been made on Boston Bruins forward, Fraser Minten, regarding his place in the organization's roster.

During the NHL trade deadline, on March 7, 2025, Boston Bruins' general manager, Don Sweeney, announced that the Bruins acquired a 20-year old forward, Fraser Minten, in a shocking trade.

This trade consisted of the Boston Bruins acquiring Minten, alongside a 2026 first-round draft pick, and a 2025 fourth-round pick from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for former Bruins defenseman, Brandon Carlo.

Now, new insight has surfaced regarding where newly acquired forward, Fraser Minten, stands in the Boston Bruins' roster for their 2025/26 NHL campaign.

A new statement reveals where newly acquired Fraser Minten's future lies within the Boston Bruins organization

A new post on social media, via “X”, by Boston Bruins reporter, Mick Colageo, reveals his perspective regarding where Fraser Minten stands within the organization's roster for the upcoming season.

Take a look:

“I'm watching Fraser Minten forecheck, puck-protect and backcheck and absolutely cannot imagine the #NHLBruins assigning him to Providence. He belongs in the NHL.”

However, it seems as though some Bruins fans disagree with this statement, due to Boston's recent acquisition's of bottom-six players.

“Not enough talent. Another bottom 6 forward at best. Thanks to Sweeney, the Bruins have 1 top 6 forward and 20 bottom 6 forwards. When is Pasta going to ask for a trade? And when Sweeney will fire Sturm to save his job again?”

Do you think that Fraser Minten deserves a spot on the Boston Bruins' roster for their upcoming 2025/26 NHL season?
