A trusted NHL insider revealed that the Boston Bruins may be prepared to complete a blockbuster trade with a newly acquired player.

According to Frank Seravalli, the Boston Bruins may be working on a deal involving a top-six/nine player.

This preseason, the Bruins are taking their time deciding what players are going to make the roster, and what players won't.

Don Sweeney and the Boston Bruins have already made their first round of roster cuts, with more expected to be made in the coming days.

With training camp, and preseason games ongoing, this hasn't stopped trade rumors from surfacing, and a familiar name has once again surfaced in trade rumors.

Frank Seravalli thinks the Bruins are waiting to see what they get out of Mittelstadt

A statement was released recently from NHL insider Frank Seravalli, and he believes the Boston Bruins are waiting to see what they can get out of Mittelstadt before making a move.

“Frank Seravalli: Re Casey Mittelstadt rumours: They're in wait and see mode...to see how that works out; can he put the pieces back together - Canucks Central (9/22)”

The Boston Bruins acquired Mittelstadt in a trade from the Colorado Avalanche at the NHL trade deadline.

Since the off-season began, Mittelstadt's name has been in trade rumors continuously.

He is still apart of the Bruins roster, and it seems like he will be here until at least the NHL trade deadline.

Do you think the Boston Bruins are going to trade Casey Mittelstadt at the NHL trade deadline, or before it?
