A new statement has surfaced, speculating that the Boston Bruins may undergo an interesting roster move involving a goaltender.
At this time, the Boston Bruins currently have three NHL level net-minders on their roster; Jeremy Swayman, Joonas Korpisalo, and Michael DiPietro.
And while speculations have circulated regarding which one will be on their way out of the organization, a new rumor has surfaced following the Boston Bruins revealing their updated camp roster.
Recently on social media, via “X”, reporter, Ty Anderson, released the Boston Bruins' newly updated roster.
Take a look:
“Updated Bruins camp roster. Strikethrough means they were already assigned to Providence, red and asterisk means they're still here and would not require waivers to be assigned to P-Bruins camp.”
A reply to this post then unveiled an interesting goaltender move which may just erupt in Boston.
Interesting goaltender move surfaces regarding the Boston Bruins and their netminders
This move would see the Bruins carry all three of their netminders.
“They should carry 3 goalies, sooner rather than later, someone will be calling in need of a goalie because of injuries. Every year you hear of some goalie getting hurt.”
Anderson then replied, and it's interesting.
Take a look:
“I don't know how likely it is (truly can't remember last time they had 3 Gs), but if DiPietro strings another good game together, I am all for beginning the year with three and having an extended tryout of sorts for the gig happen through first month of the season. Why not?”
Do you think the Boston Bruins should begin the 2025/26 NHL season with three NHL level netminders on their roster?
