During the Boston Bruins game last night, David Pastrnak showcased his inner Brad Marchand after he made a pretty petty play against a Montreal Canadiens forward.
Nothing has been going as planned for the Boston Bruins this year, and the team is currently riding a 10-game losing streak, which is the worst the organization has seen in over a decade.
The Boston Bruins have lost 10 games in a row.
This is the first time in over a decade the Bs have lost 10 straight 😬
Because of how bad the Boston Bruins have been this year, the Bruins went on a fire sale during the NHL trade deadline, shipping out a bunch of key players, but no one was as big as Brad Marchand.
Although the Boston Bruins ended up trading Brad Marchand to the Florida Panthers, it seems like you can never actually fully take Brad Marchand and what he stood for out of Boston, and David Pastrnak proved that last night.
David Pastrnak Showcases Inner Brad Marchand
During their game against the Montreal Canadiens last night, Pavel Zacha and Juraj Slafkovský ended up getting into a little altercation, and Zacha slashed his stick out of his hands as Slafkovsky was going for a change.
Pastrnak was also heading off for a change as well, and decided it would be a good idea to take Slafkovsky's stick into the Bruins bench with him.
Take a look:

This is just hilarious, and awesome to see that you can definitely take Brad Marchand out of Boston, but you can't take what he stood for out of Boston.
Do you think David Pastrnak was showcasing his inner Brad Marchand after this move?
