During a press conference held today, Wednesday, April 23, Boston Bruins' general manager, Don Sweeney, alarmingly revealed that six players will be leaving the Boston this offseason.

It has been confirmed by general manager Don Sweeney that Boston Bruins fans can expect up to six Bruins players to spend their offseason in attendance of this year's Ice Hockey World Championships, also known as the IIHF World Championship.

The Ice Hockey World Championships are an annual international men's ice hockey tournament that will be held this year from May 9 to May 25, 2025, in Stockholm, Sweden, Herning, and Denmark.

However, a new report that has just surfaced has just revealed who Boston Bruins fans can expect to be present throughout this year's highly anticipated tournament.

Here's a look at each of the six Boston Bruins set to depart from the organization following confirmation of their medical exams:

“Sweeney said the following Bruins plan to play in the World Championships: David Pastrnak Jakub Lauko Jeremy Swayman Mason Lohrei Andrew Peeke Elias Lindholm”

Despite a disappointing season for the Boston Bruins and their fan base, fans can now look forward to a breath of fresh air and witness their favorite Bruins lace 'em up in a different kind of atmosphere, one that will be a lot more fun.

This will also be a time for Sweeney and fellow management to scout skilled players, or potentially eye down David Pastrnak's next linemate in Boston, as one of his Czech teammates could very well be a nice fit.
