Tuesday brought the confirmation everyone expected, Czechia unveiled its full Olympic roster and both Bruins forwards were right there in ink. For Boston, it is another reminder that best on best is back in a real way.

The Czech group is set to open the tournament against Canada on Feb. 12, and the roster write-up reads like a plan built around high-end skill. Pastrnak is the headliner, with Zacha slotted as a key piece up front.

On the ice, Pastrnak has 17 goals and 46 points in 37 games this season, and it lines up with the kind of heater that travels to international ice. He was Boston's 2014 first-round pick, 25th overall.

Zacha has 10 goals and 26 points in 41 games, and his 6-foot-4 frame gives Czechia a middle lane option that is not just perimeter touches. He was drafted sixth overall by New Jersey in 2015.

David Pastrnak joins Czechia roster, Bruins ripple effects

As a Bruins fan, I love the honor, but it also raises the volume on every single shift between now and February. Pastrnak and Zacha play a driven style, and you just want them arriving healthy.

Boston's Olympic count keeps climbing, because Charlie McAvoy and Jeremy Swayman were named for Team USA on Friday, with Elias Lindholm on Sweden and Henri Jokiharju on Finland. That brings the Bruins to six Olympians once you add the Czech duo.

The Bruins are going to have a bunch of players representing them this year during the 2026 Winter Olympics.

It was already exciting having NHL players back at the Olympics for the first time since 2014, and having multiple Bruins going gives Bruins fans a reason to watch.
