Brad Marchand is getting ready to return back to Boston for the first time since being traded, and met with the media today where he revealed his true feelings towards Boston Bruins fans.

Marchand and the Florida Panthers ended up hitting the ice in TD Garden this morning, which marked the first time being on Bruins ice since being traded.

Following their morning skate, Marchand ended up meeting with the media where he was asked an interesting question.

Marchand was asked what's the best thing about Boston.. His response was pretty heartwarming.

He went on to say that the fans in Boston are what make it so special.

Marchand is excited to return back to Boston

The former Bruins captain also went on to talk about how excited he is to return back to Boston and play against guys he played with for a long time.

Brad Marchand ahead of his first game in Boston as a Panther: “I'm excited for this one. I mean, it'll be fun to compete against guys I played with for a long time.”

Not only is Marchand excited, but Charlie McAvoy, a longtime teammate and friend of his is also excited to see him once again.
