Boston Bruins head coach Marco Sturm has blamed upper management for the current roster the Bruins have.

Last night, the Bruins ended up losing their sixth game in a row to the Anaheim Ducks.

The game was pretty back and forth for the most part, until late in the third period. Boston ended up tying, and then 32 seconds later, the Ducks scored to retake the lead, similar to the game against the Florida Panthers.

Following the game, head coach Marco Sturm kinda ended up taking a shot at Bruins upper management.

Sturm takes a shot at Sweeney and Neely

This off-season, instead of addressing the need once again for a top-six player, the Boston Bruins went out and only signed depth/bottom-six guys.

It wouldn't be that big of a deal if the Bruins did not have a gaping hole in their top-six, but it's been a big problem since Jake DeBrusk has left and Sweeney won't do anything about it.

Sturm took a shot at him during his press conference last night, stating that this is the roster we have, and not many changes can be made.

Sturm on if reinforcements are coming up after the Bruins' 6th-straight loss:

"The roster we have, I have, not too many changes will be made. You can tweak a few things but that's about it... I don't think too many changes can be made, let's be honest. So the guys in here, including me, the guys in this room, we have to fix it."

If instead of signing nine different depth players to contracts in the off-season, the Bruins signed a couple, plus tried to make a move for a top-six player, they probably are sitting in a different position right now.
