Entering their game tonight against the Ottawa Senators, Bruins head coach Marco Sturm made a two-player roster move that will hurt them.
After losing their sixth straight game, fans were calling for the Bruins to break up the defensive pairing of Charlie McAvoy and Mason Lohrei.
In their last game against the Colorado Avalanche, the Bruins listened to fans and broke up the pairing.
This ended up greatly benefiting the Bruins, as they went on to finally get back into the win column.
Along with that, Lohrei had a career best game after being split up from McAvoy, but now the Bruins have made a controversial roster decision once agine.
Bruins place Lohrei and McAvoy back together
This morning at practice, the Bruins' pairings were revealed, and it looks like they are putting Charlie McAvoy and Mason Lohrei back together for their game against the Senators.

Splitting them up was probably the best idea for the Bruins, but it's interesting to see them back together.
Tonight, the Boston Bruins will be looking to win back-to-back games for the first time since their three-game winning streak at the beginning of the season.
Puck drop will take place at 7:45 p.m. ET.
Do you think putting McAvoy and Lohrei back together is going to hurt the Bruins?
