The Boston Bruins were reported to show extreme interest in this young forward, and a recent report furthered the idea of this player landing in Boston.
Just a few days ago, Matt Barry of Inside the Rink, speculated that Kyrou may just waive his no-trade clause to join the Bruins in Boston for the 2025/26 NHL season.
An additional report done by Todd Matthew's of the Bleedin' Blue further stated the idea that this trade would be beneficial for the Blues, the Bruins and Jordan Kyrou.
“The Bruins would get another star-caliber player in Kyrou and the Blues finally moved Kyrou's contract in this scenario. But, the burning question is: Would Kyrou waive his no-trade clause to join Boston?
As the headline of this piece suggests, the answer is an ever-resoundng 'yes.' A trade like this could transform the Bruins into a scary hockey team again, with Kyrou likely teaming up with the great David Pastrnak. Matthew wrote.
Now, NHL insider, Frank Seravalli, has touched on the subject:
“Frank Seravalli: I believe Jordan Kyrou's name remains out there; there are other teams...that have called to express interest; a lot of teams were hoping...if they could just have a conversation with the kid they could convince him to waive - Bleacher Report”
Another reporter then replied on this social media post, via “X”, stating that he has heard the Boston Bruins are one of these teams hoping to speak to Kyrou.
At this time, it is uncertain whether or not the Boston Bruins organization will get the opportunity to speak to Jordan Kyrou regarding waiving his no-trade clause, yet Bruins fans are extremely hopeful.
