A recent report suggests that a trade is set to erupt between the Boston Bruins and their longtime divisional rivals.

While the Boston Bruins have minimal time to make some major moves this offseason, as the calendar has already flipped to September, a recent report has unveiled the Bruins may just pull off another trade prior to the start of the 2025/26 NHL season.

New speculations and rumors sees the Boston Bruins combine for a trade with the Montreal Canadiens

Recently, TSN's Travis Yost discussed some potential center targets for the Boston Bruins' rival, the Montreal Canadiens, during a recent appearance on The Sick Podcast with Tony Marinano.

Where Yost would quickly bring up the possibility of the Canadiens acquiring Boston Bruins forward, Pavel Zacha.

"Pavel Zacha would be a very interesting name," Yost said. "They've got him and Lindholm down the middle right now."

Following discussing the potential of Zacha landing in Montreal, Marinaro brought up Casey Mittelstaft as another center on the Boston Bruins' roster who may just be worth pursuing, which Yost was then agree with.

"They sure do. I think there is a bit of a reduncy there," Yost said about Boston having Zacha and Mittelstadt. "I think they no doubt about it miss the playoffs this year."

Both Zacha and Mittelstadt's names have been looming the rumor mill for some time and have been victims of immense trade rumors this offseason, and now, it seems as though these forwards may just land in this organization's top rival's roster.
