Brad Marchand has easily been the Florida Panthers best player during the NHL Stanley Cup Finals, and now it's earned him a special honor from the NHL.

The former Boston Bruins captain has played a huge factor in every game so far, finding a way to get his name on the score sheet.

Only in game 4 have the Edmonton Oilers been able to hold Marchand off of the score sheet, after they sparked a comeback from being down 3-0.

In every other game, Brad Marchand has at least scored a goal.

And he did so again in one of the biggest games of the series, in game 5 to help the Florida Panthers take a 3-2 series lead over the Edmonton Oilers.

In doing so, Brad Marchand earned himself a special honor from the NHL.
