Jack Studley's Game 18 notes are out, and the Bruins will face the Panthers today without James Hagens after he landed on injured reserve.

Marco Sturm said the rookie will be out "a few weeks," and Boston recalled Michael Eyssimont from Providence. It's a real loss, because Sturm's patience with James Hagens had been paying off with 12 points in 17 games.

Studley put the Game 18 notes and lines together for the matchup with Florida.

These are the lines from Saturday's practice, and they are our best read on the group. Neither Hagens nor Eyssimont appears in them, and we don't have confirmed lines or a goalie for tonight.

Studley also posted the practice lines themselves, with Jonathan Aspirot listed after the three defense pairs.

That leaves the Eyssimont question. He hasn't played a game for Boston this season, and the practice sheet shows four full forward lines without him. He has 269 NHL games behind him, so Sturm knows exactly what he gets.

Where does Michael Eyssimont fit for the Bruins?

The safest answer is the bottom six, where the energy and penalty-killing jobs live. Whether he slots in for a regular or Sturm moves pieces around is what to watch when the lineup is confirmed.

The top two lines should stay put. Fraser Minten is a +10 and Pastrnak leads the team with 22 points, and nothing in the sheet says either line needs fixing. We pointed out Sturm leaning on Pastrnak's line before, but a 12-4-1 team doesn't need a rebuild because one rookie is hurt.

Boston has won three straight, including the 6-2 win at Pittsburgh on Thursday, and is 7-1-0 at TD Garden. Florida is 9-6-2 and lost 4-3 at Washington on Saturday, so the Panthers arrive on the second end of a quick turnaround.

Matthew Poitras is listed as day-to-day with a nose injury, so his name will be worth checking when the lineup is posted. Puck drop is later today at TD Garden.
