New top forward surfaces as a potential addition to the Boston Bruins' re-tooling roster, and it would help immensely.

The Boston Bruins have been speculated to complete their current 2025/26 NHL regular season in low standings due to their fire sale last season that left the organization with some empty holes.

That being said, the Boston Bruins completed some immense moves over the summer, but most of these acquisitions were depth based pieces, rather than adding that extra strength in their top-six that is absolutely needed.

Now, it is crunch time for the Boston Bruins' front office and general manager, Don Sweeney, to dissect which talents are expected to hit the market and to act fast.

And a new highly skilled forward has surfaced in the rumor mill, and if the Boston Bruins acquire him, it would be an absolute game changer.

Boston Bruins linked to acquiring star forward

A recent post on social media, via “X”, has surfaced, regarding the Boston Bruins needing to be all over Colorado Avalanche's Martin Necas.

Take a look:

The #NHLBruins need to be ALL over Necas if he becomes available. He'll be 27yo in January, 70+ points in 2 of the last 3 seasons, dynamo on the power play, and one of the better skaters in the league. Necas would IMMEDIATELY improve this lineup and take BOS to another level

Martin Necas is currently in his final year of his two-year, $13 million contract with a cap hit of $6.5 million per year.

His contract with Colorado will be expiring at the end of the 2025/26 NHL season, where he is expected to become an unrestricted free agent (UFA).

This 26-year old talent would undoubtedly strengthen the Boston Bruins' roster.

Do you think the Boston Bruins should inquire in the Colorado Avalanche's Martin Necas?
